HP has unveiled its flagship 2-in-1 convertible laptop, the HP Spectre x360, in a new 2024 version (old news from 2020 and 2022 models). This time, it has transitioned from the previous 13.5″ and 16″ sizes to 14″ and 16″.
The 2024 HP Spectre x360 still boasts its signature angled design with ports in the same corners as before. However, the aspect ratio of the display has been changed from the previous 3:2 to 16:10. Users now have the option to choose a maximum OLED 2.8K 120Hz panel, with automatic refresh rate adjustment ranging from 48-120Hz depending on the content.
The device is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra processor, with a maximum of 155H, Intel Arc GPU (for the 14″ model), or GeForce RTX 4050 GPU (for the 16″ model), up to 32GB LPDDR5x RAM, and a maximum of 2TB NVMe storage. The battery life is up to 13 hours (14″ model) and 15.5 hours (16″ model, non-OLED display).
One notable feature is the high-resolution front-facing webcam with 9MB and an IR camera. The audio system is tuned by Poly, the online conferencing solutions company that HP acquired in 2022, guaranteeing clear sound during online meetings.
The HP Spectre x360 2024 models are now available for purchase. The 14″ model starts at $1,499, while the 16″ model starts at $1,599.
