Live Streaming of WWE Raw, the Ultimate Spectacle of Hand-to-Hand Combat, Secured by Netflix in the United States by 2025.

Netflix has announced that it will be increasing its live content offerings by securing the rights to broadcast WWE Raw. Starting from January 2025, viewers in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the United Kingdom will be able to enjoy the live wrestling matches through the streaming platform. Netflix has also hinted at expanding the availability of the broadcasts to other countries in the future.

In addition to WWE Raw, the agreement between Netflix and WWE includes the rights to other wrestling events outside of the United States. This includes shows like SmackDown, NXT, as well as special programs such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, all starting from 2025.

While Netflix has not disclosed the financial details of the deal, we can estimate its value based on the current rights for Raw, which are owned by the USA Network, a part of NBCUniversal. The latest agreement between USA Network and WWE spans five years, with a total value of $1.325 billion, equivalent to $265 million per year. Considering this, it is likely that Netflix will be paying a higher price for the broadcasting rights.

TLDR: Netflix will be expanding its live content offerings by including WWE Raw in its lineup starting from January 2025. This deal also includes other WWE wrestling events and shows. While the exact financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed, it is expected that Netflix will be paying a higher price for the rights compared to the current deal with USA Network.
