The 61-page report details attack patterns, popular methods, and the increasing number of attacks in certain high-risk channels. Key points include:

The most popular system entry method involves masquerading or utilizing Social Engineering to access APIs or OTPs due to their high success rate.
Cloud-based attacks have increased by up to 75%, particularly those exploiting vulnerabilities through increased configuration flaws by 110%.
The number of victims falling prey to data breaches for ransomware demands from companies or organizations has risen by 76%.
The average system attack duration has decreased from 79 minutes to 62 minutes, with the fastest cases taking only 2 minutes and 7 seconds in the past year.
Cross-domain system entry has significantly increased (e.g. cloud to end-point) due to many organizations segregating security responsibilities.
The issue of attacks through Generative AI channels remains relatively low.
