As anticipated, Sony has announced the release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for PC following PlayStation’s new policy of no longer having exclusivity. The PC port is set to be available for purchase on May 16, 2024.
This version of the game includes the main Ghost of Tsushima campaign, the Iki Island expansion, and the co-op online mode Legends, comparable to the Director’s Cut version for PS4/PS5.
Added features in the PC version include graphics enhancements supporting NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, Intel XeSS, ultra-wide screen support with a maximum aspect ratio of 48:9, controller compatibility with DualSense connecting to PC and other controllers through Steam Input, and the ability to remap buttons.
The porting of Ghost of Tsushima to PC remains the work of Nixxes Software, a company acquired by Sony for this purpose. Additionally, a PC version of Horizon Forbidden West is set to be released at the end of March.
