Qualcomm has unveiled its latest chip, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, designed for smartphones with impressive AI model processing capabilities and enhanced photography and gaming features.
Built on 4-nanometer technology, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 boasts an 8-core CPU configuration with a 1+4+3 core setup consisting of the powerful Cortex X4 core, 4 Performance cores, and 3 Efficiency cores. This chip supports popular AI models like Baichuan-7B, Llama 2, Gemini Nano, and Zhipu ChatGLM, with performance capabilities reaching up to 10 billion parameters.
According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is tailored for premium smartphones, with several manufacturers already committed to integrating this chip into their upcoming devices, including Honor, iQOO, realme, Redmi, and Xiaomi.
