New Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Brings Record-Breaking Concurrent Players on Steam to Over 100,000

ConcernedApe, the developer of Stardew Valley, has released the highly anticipated update to the game, Stardew Valley 1.6, on PC through Steam and GOG. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with SteamDB reporting a peak concurrent player count of 146,159 in the past 24 hours. This number surpasses the previous peak in January 2021, which stood at 94,879 (excluding GOG numbers).

As of now, the Stardew Valley 1.6 update is only available on PC, with a release on Game Pass expected soon. There is currently no set release date for smartphones and consoles.
