Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, traveled to China this week to participate in the opening of the new Apple Store in Shanghai, named Apple Jing’an due to its proximity to Jing’an Temple and Jing’an Park. The store features a spacious front plaza for hosting various events and is set to open on March 21.
During his visit, Cook met with employees from various Apple Store locations, as well as suppliers in China, developers, filmmakers, and others. He shared updates on activities on his Weibo account.
Apple Jing’an is the 8th store in Shanghai and the 57th in China. This flagship store boasts a large total floor area, ranking second only to the Fifth Avenue store in New York.
