Enhancing Windows 11’s Copilot Compatibility with Microsoft 365: Accessing Organizational Data from the Desktop

Microsoft has enhanced Copilot in Windows 11 to support organizational account usage (Copilot in Microsoft 365). The sidebar in Copilot on the desktop now includes the company logo and tabs for Work / Web at the top.

Users can choose to switch Copilot to Work mode to pull information from organizational accounts such as emails, documents, calendars, and chat messages directly onto Windows. However, if they need to search for information from the internet like a regular consumer, they can simply switch back to Web mode and use it as usual.
