Introducing HP’s OmniBook X and EliteBook Ultra: Unleashing the Power of Snapdragon, Redefining the PC Experience.

HP introduces its own Copilot+ PC lineup with two models, both equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite X1E 12-core CPU, boasting a battery life of up to 26 hours (22 hours of continuous Netflix streaming). Sporting the Poly Camera Pro webcam from Poly, acquired by HP in 2022, and utilizing NPU chips for image processing during online meetings.

The HP OmniBook X AI PC, on the consumer side, features a 14″ IPS 2.2K display, 32/64GB RAM, 512GB/1TB storage, 59 WHr battery, weighing 1.35 kilograms, starting at $1,199.99, available for sale on June 18th. Detailed specifications included.

In this reveal, HP also announced a rebranding of its notebook product lines, consolidating the Envy, Spectre sub-brands into a single “Omni” brand, including OmniBook (notebooks), OmniStudio (all-in-ones), OmniDesk (desktops).

For consumer products, the brand “Omni” will be exclusively used, while the business segment will feature the “Elite” for high-end and “Pro” for the lower-end market, such as EliteBook (notebooks), EliteStudio (all-in-ones), EliteDesk (desktops).

Additionally, HP will categorize products based on pricing tiers using the series U (Ultra), X (representing 10), descending numerically. Consumer products will feature odd numbers (7, 5, 3) and business products will feature even numbers (8, 6 for Elite and 4, 2 for Pro).

HP stated that the selection of the “Omni” brand, translating to “All,” for consumer products, was derived from the company’s past use of the Omni brand for early notebooks. Gaming products will continue to use the “Omen” brand unchanged.

Furthermore, HP unveiled the AI Helix logo, not to replace the existing logo but to signify the AI features present in this product lineup.
