Microsoft has announced that several popular apps are now starting to support Windows on Arm, in addition to apps from Adobe and other prominent developers. Notably, a large set of open-source developer-side apps are also jumping on board.
Docker Desktop officially supports Windows on Arm in version 4.31.
Blender has begun testing support, with the stable version 4.2 on the horizon.
GIMP has entered testing as well, with the stable version 3.0 in the works.
PyTorch is now testing Arm builds.
Qt will start supporting in version 6.8.
Audacity has announced its official support.
Microsoft has also confirmed that all major web browser apps like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi, and Brave now support Windows on Arm.
A significant highlight in the lineup of apps supporting Windows on Arm as of May 2024 is the extensive support from security and VPN apps.
