Ookbee App ceases E-book transactions, redirects users to Pinto App within the same conglomerate.

Ookbee App announced the discontinuation of e-book sales services on June 30, 2024, with a transition to the Pinto e-book app under the same umbrella. The reason behind this service closure is due to the migration of Ookbee’s e-book store from Ookbee Company Limited to Storylock Company Limited, which are both under the same corporate entity (owner of platforms Tunwalai and Fictionlog). Storylock Company already has another e-book app, Pinto, available, hence the migration. Users can transfer their previously purchased e-books from Ookbee to Pinto seamlessly. Ookbee clarified that the June 30, 2024, date only marks the cessation of new e-book sales, with existing e-books still accessible on the Ookbee app until further notice of app closure.

TLDR: Ookbee discontinues e-book sales on June 30, 2024, prompting users to transition to Pinto app for continued access to purchased e-books.
