Unconfirmed: OpenAI Utilizes Azure Servers for Collaborating with Apple Intelligence.

Apple Intelligence, in collaboration with OpenAI, has recently been unveiled by Apple. Apple has specified that Apple Intelligence, within the context of the introduction (which likely refers to the Apple Foundation Model), processes on its own devices and Private Compute Cloud.

According to The Information, the processing power from OpenAI that supplements Apple Intelligence is being processed on the Azure cloud platform exclusively. Even though Apple has confirmed that they do not send users’ personal data (such as IP addresses) to OpenAI, this information may still raise privacy concerns that Apple has emphasized throughout.
