Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Watch FE smartwatch as per the leaked news, with a starting price of $199, a more affordable option compared to the regular Galaxy Watch priced at $299, aiming to expand the Galaxy Watch user base.
The Galaxy Watch FE comes in a single 40mm size and three color options: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver. The standout feature is the Samsung BioActive Sensor, which includes 3 sensors – Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis, capable of detailed heart rate monitoring, ECG, blood pressure measurement, and sleep quality tracking.
Technical specifications include a 1.2″ 396×396 Super AMOLED display, Exynos W920 Dual Core 1.18GHz processor, 1.5GB memory, 16GB storage, 247mAh battery, and Wear OS operating system with One UI 5 Watch.
The Galaxy Watch FE specs closely resemble the Galaxy Watch 4 from 2021 and are a step down from the Galaxy Watch 6 model from 2023 in terms of screen size, processor, RAM, and battery.
The Galaxy Watch FE Bluetooth-only model is priced at $199.99, while the LTE model is priced at $249.99 and will be available for sale starting June 24.
