Whispers of Amazon’s Unveiling of its AI Chatbot Named Metis, potentially collaborating with Alexa.

According to a report from Business Insider citing documents and related information, Amazon is reportedly developing its own AI chatbot similar to ChatGPT, expected to be launched this year with the codename Metis.

Additional information on Metis indicates that it can be accessed through a web browser, utilizing a new AI model developed in-house by Amazon. However, Amazon has declined to comment on this news.

As a major technology company, Amazon has yet to release a distinct AI product. The company already has the intelligent assistant Alexa and previous reports suggest plans for Alexa Plus, a paid AI-enhanced version. However, this has not been officially released yet.
