YouTube has recently introduced 5 new features for YouTube Premium users, while there are still 3 features that are currently being tested. Among the 2 features that have been officially added are:
The Jump ahead button allows users to skip parts of a video by double-tapping the screen, and selecting Jump ahead will skip to the most-watched segment of that clip. Currently, this feature is only available on Android in the United States, with iOS support coming in the next few weeks.
The Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature, which allows for watching videos in a small overlay, is now compatible with YouTube Shorts, but is only available on Android.

Conversational AI feature, a chatbot AI that provides additional information about the video being watched. This feature was previously tested a year ago and is now being re-introduced, starting with Android users in the United States.
Redesigned watch page that moves user comments to the right-hand side and shifts recommended videos below the clip in a horizontal layout. This feature is currently only available for testing on the web.
After testing, users can provide feedback to YouTube for further improvements before an official release in the future.
