Renowned leaker Evan Blass, also known as Evleaks, has revealed exclusive details about the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, set to debut on July 10th.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 weighs 239 grams and measures 12.1 millimeters thick, marking a slight decrease in weight and size compared to the Z Fold 5 at 235 grams and 13.4 millimeters thick.
Introducing the new Slim Flex Hinge design for the Z Fold 6, along with enhanced aluminum frame for increased durability.
Both models are rated IP48 for dust and water resistance, a first for Samsung’s foldable devices, although falling short of the IP68 standard commonly seen in traditional smartphones.
The OLED display on the Z Fold 6 boasts a brightness of 2600 nits, a 1.5 times increase from the Z Fold 5.
As for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, it features the Flex Hinge design, IP48 dust resistance, and is slightly thinner than its predecessor by 0.2 millimeters. The main camera has been upgraded to 50MP, and the battery capacity has been increased to 4,000 mAh.
