The server of Mobile Guardian, a provider of mobile device management (MDM) services, focuses on school customers who have been hacked. Some students’ computers have been remotely wiped, causing all data to be lost and rendering the devices unusable.
The MDM app monitors device usage in detail. Mobile Guardian itself can track device usage, allow teachers to view device screens, lock down app usage in classrooms, limit viewed content, lock the device screen, and restrict device usage outside designated areas.
The Ministry of Education in Singapore has reported that 26 schools in Singapore are using Mobile Guardian and have temporarily removed the app altogether.

TLDR: Mobile Guardian’s server was targeted towards schools where students’ devices were hacked, leading to complete data loss. The MDM app provides detailed device monitoring capabilities, and Singapore’s Ministry of Education has temporarily removed the app from 26 schools.
