Google has announced the successful production of the Pixel 8 smartphone in India, in line with the October 2023 plan. The initial batch of phones has smoothly come out of the factory.
India has emerged as a vibrant market for the relocation of electronic devices. Google’s own products, such as HP-manufactured Chromebooks, have led the way in India since 2023. Meanwhile, Apple has been producing iPhones in India for several years, starting with the iPhone 12 in 2021, gradually increasing its market share in line with the risk distribution plan of supply chains moving out of China.
