Enhanced Communication on TikTok: Introducing Group Chat with a Maximum of 32 Members in Direct Messages, now with added Stickers

TikTok has announced the addition of new features for user-to-user messaging or Direct Messages (DM) that facilitate the sharing of interesting content. These features have been highly requested by TikTok users.

In Group Chat, users can create chat rooms for up to 32 people to chat and share interesting clips within the group. TikTok has enhanced security for young users, with those aged 13-15 unable to join chat groups. For users aged 16-17, they must have at least one friend in the group before being allowed to use the invite and join feature.

Additionally, Stickers have been added to enhance the ability to send stickers in chats.
