Larian Studio continues to persevere, fatigued yet driven, following their recent accolade at the Baldur’s Gate 3 awards ceremony. Most recently, the Hugo Awards announced their recognition of this science fiction-fantasy novel and game.
The Hugo Awards, the pinnacle of science fiction-fantasy accolades worldwide, typically focus on the arts or novels. However, in 2021, they introduced a special gaming category for the first time. Hades claimed victory that year, and now Baldur’s Gate 3 joins the prestigious ranks as the second game to win this esteemed award. Among the contenders this year were Alan Wake 2, Chants of Sennaar, DREDGE, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
