Presently, Waymo operates in 4 cities including Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Austin. Among these cities, San Francisco has the highest utilization of Waymo’s taxi services.
Over the past few months, Waymo has made several advancements. Alphabet, the parent company, announced an additional investment of $5 billion, introducing the 6th generation of their autonomous driving system with fewer components but improved service quality. Moreover, they have collaborated with Uber to offer driverless taxi services exclusively in Phoenix.
