Google has updated the widget of the Google app for iPhone and iPad, allowing users to customize the buttons they want to be displayed. Previously, the widget had three fixed topics: Lens, Voice Search, and Incognito.
In the new widget, users can add up to 4 buttons and have additional options such as Activity, Gemini, Google Lens for Homework, Google Lens for Screenshot, Song Search, Translate, and more.
These changes only apply to the large-sized widgets and users can also choose from different color themes.
