YouTube recently held the Made by YouTube event, announcing a plethora of AI features for creators.
The Veo AI, originally introduced at Google I/O, will enhance the Dream Screen feature which uses AI to create backgrounds or still images on YouTube Shorts. On the other hand, the Inspiration tab on YouTube Studio will now include Gen AI to suggest video titles, thumbnail images, video structures, and even various video ideas.
A new feature called Communities will allow creators to transform their channel spaces into social media-like groups where followers and creators can post various content. The Communities Hub will provide management tools with AI assistance like generating replies or comments.
Furthermore, the Auto Dubbing feature will automatically overlay voiceovers in other languages, starting with Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian. The new Hype button, similar to the Like button, will place highly hyped videos or creators on a leaderboard to help viewers discover them. Additionally, creators can now send stickers as gifts during live streaming.
YouTube Shopping will allow product placements under videos, and the Affiliate Program will soon launch in Thailand. Content organized into seasons or episodes will now be displayed on TVs similar to series on streaming platforms.
