Google has released Android Studio Ladybug version 2024.2.1 following the new versioning system. Versions ending with .1 will only update the IntelliJ core.
The first version of Android Studio to adopt this policy was Koala (code-named K) which was released as version 2024.1.1 (core update) in June and 2024.1.2 (Feature Drop) in August.
Android Studio Ladybug (code-named L) is the second version to follow this policy. The news is the release of version 2024.2.1 which only updates the core without any new features.
