Countdown Begins: Windows 10, Office 2016, Office 2019 to Receive 1 More Year of Support Until October 14, 2025

In a year from now, on October 14, 2025, marks the end of support for Windows 10 as previously announced by Microsoft.
Windows 10 made its debut on July 29, 2015, with a promised 10-year support cycle until October 14, 2025. After this date, no security patches will be provided (although patching can be extended for an additional 3 years with paid support, similar to Windows 7). Microsoft’s recommendation is to upgrade to Windows 11.
In addition to Windows 10, October 14, 2025, also signifies the end of support for other Microsoft software, including:
– Office 2016, Office 2019, along with smaller software suites like Visio and Project.
– Server-side software like Exchange Server 2016/2019 and Skype for Business Server 2015/2019.
– Visual Studio 2015 and Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (now transformed into Azure Dev Ops).
