LINE has provided a collection of basic emojis for chat usage for several years, but the free basic emoji set has not been updated for a long time. Recently, LINE announced the launch of all-new redesigned default emojis to better express emotions in a more contemporary manner.
The updated set of emojis includes both the classic LINE Friends characters and new characters, along with a wider range of facial expressions. The new default emojis will gradually be rolled out to LINE users starting from version 14.19.0 onwards, beginning November 25, 2024. For those who still prefer the old emojis, they can download them here.
