They also mentioned that the orders would increase security and privacy risks for users, which need to be balanced.
Recently, the Brazilian Central Government Court ruled to revoke the regulators’ orders, citing that the 20-day deadline was too rushed and unnecessary for such a short timeframe.
However, this court ruling does not mean that Apple is exempt from adding access to the App Store in Brazil, but rather the enforcement timeline may be extended. It is expected that the regulators and Apple will file appeals to seek a new resolution.
