Ted Price, the CEO of Insomniac Games, announced his resignation from the position in March after being the CEO and founder for 30 years. He has plans to retire from the gaming industry altogether.
Insomniac Games is a game studio under PlayStation, developing both the Ratchet & Clank series and the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise.
The new leadership at Insomniac has appointed 3 top-level executives to lead the studio together, namely Chad Dezern, Ryan Schneider, and Jen Huang. The transition was planned since last year, with Dezern working with Insomniac since 1998, involved in game development since the PlayStation 1 era. Schneider has been leading brand strategy for almost 20 years, and Huang joined the finance team in 2016.
