Enhanced Bedrock now offers Luma AI video creation services by AWS at a rate of 25-50 baht per second.

AWS has added a new service for artificial intelligence to create videos called Luma Ray2 by Luma AI. These videos can be generated based on specified text through the AWS Bedrock service, with charges calculated in real seconds of video creation.

The videos created must be stored in the user’s S3, incurring a slight increase in storage costs (which is negligible compared to the cost of video creation). The generated videos come in two resolutions: 540p at $0.75 per second and 720p at $1.5 per second.

Previously, Google Cloud had introduced the Veo on Vertex AI service for similar video creation, but with limited access to authorized customers only. The Luma Ray2 service, on the other hand, is open to general customers, albeit with acceptance of the usage terms similar to other generative AI models on AWS.

TLDR: AWS introduces Luma Ray2 for AI video creation, storing videos in user’s S3 with cost based on seconds of creation. Direct competitor to Google Cloud’s Veo on Vertex AI, Luma Ray2 is now open to all customers with similar terms and conditions.
