Royal Ascension: Unleashed II – A Stunning Debut with Over 1 Million Units Sold and an Average Review Score of 88/100

Warhorse Studios, a game studio from the Czech Republic, has announced the success of their game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which sold over 1 million copies on its first day of release. Looking at the statistics on Steam alone, the player count has peaked at around 176,000.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a sequel to the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, released in 2018 (the studio has only made these two games so far). It follows the same protagonist and continues the story, set in a medieval European setting in the Kingdom of Bohemia (modern-day Czech Republic at the time).

The second installment of the game has received favorable reviews, averaging an 88/100 on Metacritic and 89/100 on Opencritic, higher than the first installment’s average score of 76/100. The critical acclaim and sales success have sparked discussions about it potentially being a frontrunner for Game of the Year 2025.

TLDR: Kingdom Come: Deliverance II surpasses 1 million sales on day one, garnering critical praise and setting the stage for a potential Game of the Year title in 2025.
