Adobe has announced that the Firefly Video Model service, which uses AI to create videos from text input or images, has officially launched for users. This comes after Adobe released a limited beta version to users at the end of last year.
The standout feature of Firefly Video Model is its integration with applications in the Creative Cloud suite, allowing it to work seamlessly with popular video editing programs like Premiere Pro. It is also the first AI video creation model in the industry that can be used for commercial purposes.
Videos created with Firefly Video Model can be customized in terms of details, camera angles, and color tones as per the user’s preferences. These videos are typically 5 seconds long and in 1080p resolution, meeting the industry standard for clips not exceeding 3 seconds.
The subscription plans for Firefly Standard start at $9.99 per month, allowing users to create 20 clips monthly. For more active users, the Firefly Pro plan is priced at $29.99 per month and enables the creation of 70 clips per month.
