Google Ceases Gemini Functionality on iOS Google App – Opt for Gemini App Specifically Instead

Google has notified users of the Google app on iOS that the Gemini AI feature will be removed from the Google app, which was originally the main channel for using Gemini on iOS, alternating with Google Search.

Google has advised users to switch to using Gemini through the Gemini app on iOS, which was released late last year. Google states that besides being able to use Gemini as before, new features that were not available in the Google app will be added to the Gemini app, such as Gemini Live voice chat feature.
