IDC reported that a total of 1.485 million portable PC gaming devices, including Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, and MSI Claw, were shipped in 2024. Over the span of 2022-2024, the total shipments reached 5.97 million units. Looking ahead to 2025, IDC predicts shipments to reach 1.926 million units.
Steam Deck has captured the largest market share over the past 3 years, delivering 3.7 million units, which is more than half of the total market shipments.
