Introducing the Cutting-Edge AMD Radeon RX 9070 GPU Series: High Performance at $549-599

AMD unveils its latest GPU architecture, RDNA 4, tailored for gamers, boasting enhanced performance in both Raytracing and Machine Learning while maintaining superior cost-efficiency.

Building upon its predecessor RDNA 3, RDNA 4 showcases up to 64 Compute Units, a 40% improvement, with Raytracing Accelerator 3 delivering twice the throughput, and AI Accelerator 2 processing models faster than before.

The GPU lineup for RDNA 4 introduces two initial models under the new Radeon RX 9000 series: Radeon RX 9070 and Radeon RX 9070 XT.

The Radeon RX 9070 is positioned for mainstream gamers at a price point below $700, capable of gaming at 1440p to 4K levels, equipped with 16GB GDDR6 memory, 56 Compute Units, clocked at 2.1GHz, consuming 220W, priced at $549.

On the other hand, the Radeon RX 9070 XT offers enhanced display performance with 64 Compute Units, clocked at 2.4GHz, consuming 304W, priced at $599.

Both Radeon RX 9070 and Radeon RX 9070 XT will be available through partners like Acer, ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX, and Yeston starting from March 6, 2025 onwards.
