Rohan Sahai, the head of product at OpenAI’s Sora division, has revealed the company’s plan to integrate this AI-powered video creation tool into other OpenAI services. Currently, customers using AI to create videos through Sora’s ChatGPT platform must access the Sora app directly to do so.
Sahai stated that OpenAI is working on enabling ChatGPT to utilize Sora through chatbots, allowing for video editing and customization directly through chat. The reason for incorporating Sora into ChatGPT is to streamline OpenAI’s products for customers, similar to the image creation capabilities of DALL-E 3.
Additionally, Sahai mentioned that OpenAI is developing Sora Turbo, a new AI video creation model.
