Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 15, their flagship smartphone of 2015, which retains the same design as the previous year’s Xiaomi 14 model. The 6.36-inch screen has been upgraded to 3,200 nits of brightness from 3,000 nits, featuring an in-display fingerprint reader using ultrasonic technology.

The upgraded Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset follows tradition, with a battery upgrade to 5240 mAh while reducing the weight by 2 grams. The device supports 90W fast charging and features the same Light Fusion 900 sensor.

On the rear, there are 3 cameras, with the main camera utilizing a Leica Summilux lens with 7 elements, a 23mm focal length, a 50MP telephoto camera with a 60mm focal length and 5x zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 12mm focal length. The camera setup also includes a new Sunset Portrait mode for capturing backlit portraits during the evening sun.

The software side sees an upgrade to the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 operating system, incorporating enhanced AI features and improved integration with Google for a more seamless Gemini experience.

The Xiaomi 15 comes in 4 colors: Black, White, Green, and the new Liquid Silver, starting at a price of 999 euros.

TLDR: Xiaomi introduces the Xiaomi 15, a high-end smartphone with upgraded features such as increased display brightness, improved cameras, and enhanced software capabilities.
