Nintendo has unveiled more details about Pokémon Legends: Z-A in the latest trailer from last night’s Direct event, showcasing a more immersive gameplay experience.
The game utilizes a day/night system, where during the day players can catch Pokémon in Wild Zones or some Pokémon may need to be tracked on rooftops to catch. The gameplay switches up when entering nighttime, entering the Z-A Royale battle mode between Pokémon, and also introduces a Mega Evolution system during battles.
After battles, trainers will receive rankings starting from Z to the highest A, hence the title of the game itself.
Nintendo has not announced the release date yet, but mentioned that Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be coming out in late 2025.
