Enhancing Capabilities: Apple Updates iOS 18.4 and Software Ecosystem with a Plethora of New Features

Apple has released software updates for its operating systems and firmware for a wide range of headphones products today. Users can update through the usual methods and channels.
iOS 18.4 for iPhone introduces several new features, some of which Apple had previously announced.
Apple Intelligence adds a Priority notification system, Image Playground includes Sketch images, and support for 8 additional languages like Japanese, Korean, and French.
Visual Intelligence adds support for iPhone 15 Pro.
A new app, Apple Vision Pro, is introduced to manage content on Vision Pro.
Photos now offer the option to sort images by latest edit date in albums.
New emoji additions from Emoji 16.0 include yawning face and water spraying.
App Store adds app summaries with Apple Intelligence, and a pause button for app downloads.
CarPlay home screen now features 3 rows of apps and various improvements.
Bug fixes and security vulnerability fixes have been addressed across many areas.

For iPadOS 18.4 on iPad, Mail Categorization feature has been added, which has been available since iOS 18.2 but was missing on iPads.
Other operating system and firmware updates include:
macOS Sequoia 15.4 with Mail Categorization improvements and added Apple Intelligence features.
tvOS 18.4 with interface enhancements for the Apple TV app.
visionOS 2.4 supporting Apple Intelligence (US English) and various usability improvements.
AirPods Max firmware 7E99 now supports Lossless audio and low-latency sound.
AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2 firmware 7E93 updates do not specify changes.

Apple has also released security updates for older devices, including:
iPadOS 17.7.6 for iPads not updated to iPadOS 18.
iOS 16.7.11 and iPadOS 16.7.11 for iPhones and iPads on versions 17-18.
iOS 15.8.4 and iPadOS 15.8.4 for older devices like iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone SE 1st Gen, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4th Gen, and iPod touch 7th Gen.
macOS Sonoma 14.7.5 and macOS Ventura 13.7.5.

In this update round, Apple also released watchOS 11.4, but some users reported issues post-update, leading Apple to pull back the update temporarily.
