Bill Gates Releases Source Code Book: A Chronicle of His Life on Microsoft’s 50th Anniversary

Bill Gates has released a memoir to mark Microsoft’s 50th anniversary, titled “Source Code.” Gates revealed that he founded Microsoft at the age of 20 (he’s turning 70 this year). Throughout the past 50 years, he has lived his life in the public eye. Despite publishing several books, none of them have focused on his own life. He usually looks ahead to the future and the world at large, rather than dwelling on the past or himself.

However, now at the age of 70, with children grown and more time for self-reflection, Gates saw it as a good opportunity to write a book about himself. He shares stories from his childhood to the early days of founding Microsoft, including his relationship with Paul Allen that led to the company’s establishment.

The book “Source Code” was released in February.

TLDR: Bill Gates releases memoir “Source Code” on Microsoft’s 50th anniversary, reflecting on his journey from childhood to founding the company at 20 years old, emphasizing the importance of self-reflection at 70.
