Tesla has announced the commencement of testing their Ride-Hailing app service with FSD Supervised mode, requiring constant human presence behind the wheel. This trial period is restricted to Tesla employees only, being conducted in the urban areas of Austin and the Bay Area in San Francisco. The autonomous taxi service has undergone over 1,500 trips covering a grand total of 15,000 miles.

In their latest quarterly earnings release, Tesla has hinted that the autonomous taxi service might be available to the general public as early as June in Austin. This development marks a significant milestone in the progression of Tesla’s FSD network, including the mobile app, vehicle distribution, and operational oversight.
