Company 0patch, pronounced as zero patch, specializing in software security patching, has announced an extended support service for Windows 10 for at least 5 more years at a more cost-effective price compared to purchasing services from Microsoft.
Windows 10 will reach the end of support in October 2025, and organizations requiring continued security patches can opt for Extended Security Updates (ESU) from Microsoft for an additional 3 years at a total cost of $427.
0patch provides micropatch services, offering unofficial security patches that are small in size, solving CPU instruction issues in just a few lines of code, and applying them to processes running in memory without altering Windows binaries. This means a new patch must be applied whenever the machine boots, a process efficiently handled by 0patch Agent (operational details).
Having initially offered this service during the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 era, 0patch plans to expand its support to Windows 10 22H2, boasting a more budget-friendly pricing starting at €24.95 per year.

TLDR: 0patch offers extended support for Windows 10 at a lower cost than Microsoft’s packages, providing micropatch services for improved security.
