One of the highlights of Adobe MAX is the Sneaks session, where Adobe presents experimental projects that have the potential to become future products, such as Project Neo which creates 2D images from initial 3D objects in Illustrator this year. The Sneaks for this year consist of a total of 9 projects, including:
Project Clean Machine
A tool that removes light leaks or flashes that appear in images or videos by detecting and automatically removing them. The tool can also adjust for cases where people walk in front of the camera in videos.
Project Remix a Lot
An assistant for creating posters or graphic designs in just a few clicks, starting from hand-drawn sketches or existing works as a reference template. The tool also supports layout adjustments to fit the desired size.
Project In Motion
Creates videos where the starting and ending shapes can be specified to undergo changes as desired. The output is an After Effects animation that can also include patterns and colors as desired.
Project Super Sonic
Uses AI to create sound effects for videos that originally have no accompanying sound. By using prompts along with the desired video segments to add sound, this tool supports the addition of sound effects based on human references like the roar of a monster.
Project Hi-Fi
A Photoshop plugin that can generate new images from reference images based on designated prompts. The main feature is the ability to real-time transform the output image to match the original that has been edited or with added details.
Project Scenic
A tool that generates 2D images using Generative AI, but solves the problem of needing multiple prompts to get the desired outcome by starting with a 3D model to specify object positions and camera angles before creating the final 2D image.
Project Perfect Blend
A Photoshop plugin that can add people or objects to images and adjust tones and lighting to blend harmoniously with the scene using Generative AI. For example, combining individuals (and cats) photographed in different locations into the same scene with adjustments for lighting and color harmony.
Project Know How
Enhances the content credentials ownership verification system to the next level. This project allows verification of originality even if metadata has been deleted from the work or if AI has been used to alter parts of an image. It can be done online with a Chrome extension to compare watermarks of works with existing Content Credentials. There are plans to develop an app to verify printed works in real-time as well.
Project Turntable
Can transform vector objects in Illustrator, which are 2D, into 3D views as needed with just a click and drag, reducing the editing process compared to traditional methods.
