Warner Bros. Games has announced the acquisition of Player First Games, the studio behind the upcoming fighting game MultiVersus, which features Warner Bros. characters. The deal’s value remains undisclosed.
Player First Games will continue operations under the leadership of its co-founders Tony Huynh and Chris White, who will report directly to Carlos Barbosa, head of Warner Bros. Games.
Warner Bros. Games justified the acquisition by stating that after collaborating with Player First Games for several years on developing MultiVersus, they decided to bring the team on board to further enhance their game development capabilities.
