Acclaimed Rockstar acquires Video Games Deluxe studio aiding in remastering GTA: The Trilogy

Rockstar has announced the acquisition of the game studio Video Games Deluxe, known for their work on porting and remastering older games from various game companies such as L.A. Noire and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition (despite receiving criticism for their poor ports).
Video Games Deluxe is a game studio from Australia, based in Sydney. It was founded by Brendan McNamara, who was previously the founder of Team Bondi, the creators of the detective game L.A. Noire, which Rockstar also distributed.
After the acquisition of Video Games Deluxe, the studio will be rebranded as Rockstar Australia and will assist in supporting the development of other games within the company.
