CrowdStrike has announced the acquisition of Adaptive Shield, a cybersecurity platform for SaaS, without disclosing the value of the deal. Michael Sentonas, the President of CrowdStrike, stated that the acquisition of Adaptive Shield strengthens the cybersecurity platform for the company’s Falcon platform from end-user to cloud and SaaS levels.
Founded in 2019, Adaptive Shield provides security management systems for SaaS, supporting over 150 applications, including applications for Generative AI security. In addition to threat detection, it also offers risk assessment and misconfiguration checks, allowing organizations to proactively address issues.
