Wiz, a cloud security company, has announced the acquisition of Dazz, a company specializing in security problem-solving and risk management. The deal’s value has not been disclosed, but TechCrunch estimates it to be around $450 million.
According to Wiz, organizations today face risks at every connection point, from code levels to the cloud or even on-premises. This necessitates tools for risk prioritization and management to support various decision-making processes, leading to the acquisition of Dazz to enhance their toolset in this area.
In a statement, Assaf Rappaport, CEO of Wiz, mentioned his long-standing working relationship with Merav Bahat, CEO of Dazz, as they had previously worked together at Microsoft before starting security-related companies.
