Advanced Copilot+ Software not yet compatible with x86 architecture, Microsoft promises support by year-end.

At the recent Computex event, Intel and AMD unveiled new chips with improved NPU capabilities. However, they are currently unable to support Microsft’s Copilot+ which was introduced earlier. Microsoft stated during the launch that Copilot+ would be compatible with Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm, but did not provide a clear timeline. A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed with XDA that both Intel and AMD will release SoCs with specs similar to Qualcomm’s (likely referring to ARM architecture).
