Google has unveiled the Pixel 9 with a slew of new features such as Gemini Live, Call Notes, Pixel Screenshot, and Pixel Studio, which is an AI feature that creates images directly on the device (unlike Imagen 3 that operates on the cloud).
Recently, some users have encountered issues with Pixel Studio allowing inappropriate images to be created, although Google does not allow for the creation of personal photos, users can still create cartoon character images.
For example, an image of SpongeBob wearing a German soldier uniform during World War II or Pikachu sporting black sunglasses, holding a gun. However, Google has since addressed this issue, particularly with creating highly sensitive images.
Currently, Pixel Studio is accessible on Pixel 9 smartphones and above, users can simply open the app, select a image style (with 10 basic recommendations) or specify a new prompt from scratch to start using it immediately.
TLDR: Google introduced the Pixel 9 with new features like Gemini Live and Pixel Studio, however, there were issues with Pixel Studio allowing inappropriate images. Google has since fixed the problem, making it easy to create images directly on the device.
