Yesterday, the MONO News Evening program on Mono29 channel revealed that there will be the first AI news announcer on the station named Marisa, without disclosing further details.
AI Marisa will be announcing news during the brief news segments every day for 7 days starting from May 14th onwards.
Mono Next Company, the owner of Mono29 TV station, previously mentioned their plan to introduce AI for reading short news, taking inspiration from news announcers of other channels. They also utilize AI on other platforms within the company.
Previously, Nation TV Channel 22 also started using AI news announcers for News Alert segments, with Natcha AI introduced since April 1st.
