Google has introduced a new feature in Chrome Canary 131 that allows users to chat with Gemini directly on the DevTools screen, under the name AI assistance. Users who are interested can enable it themselves.
The advantage of having AI assistance in DevTools directly is that we can directly inquire about various elements that we encounter problems with, as well as help us write code to fix web pages according to our needs. Every time the AI needs to run the code, the screen will pause for us to read and confirm running the code ourselves.
